Idol named Bike of the Year (again)
Idol has been named Dream Bike of the Year 2026 by Grinta readers, again
When we presented the new Idol a few months ago, we chose an evocative title:
“Woven from dreams and carbon”.
Looking back, we like to think it wasn’t just a well-crafted phrase.
Today that title has become an official recognition, and a plaque to remember it by: “Dream Bike of the Year 2026 – powered by Grinta!”
Cristiano and Nicholas collected the award during Velofollies in Belgium, held last weekend.

What makes us most proud?
You voted for it. Not a technical jury. Not an algorithm.
But amateurs, readers, cyclists, people who don’t just look at a bike, they imagine it, choose it, ride it.
And it’s not the first time.
Back in 2020, at the very first edition of the contest launched by the Belgian magazine, it already happened.
Idol was named Bike of the Year.
And when it happens twice, it’s no longer a coincidence, it’s confirmation.

Let us be honest, we’ve always believed in this bike, otherwise it wouldn’t have been in our collection for 20 years.
But this is proof that Idol continues to do exactly what it was born to do:
to be the perfect link between comfort and performance, between Granfondo rides and attacking climbs, between evolution and identity.
If “We are such stuff as dreams are made on”, then there’s a bit of carbon inside us too.
